SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – On Friday, Dec. 19th, at 11 A.M, The Red River Waterway Commission and The Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries opened the new 12-Mile Bayou Boat Ramp and Access Road on the John Franks Wildlife Management Area, north of Shreveport.
The opening was commemorated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the location.
The boat ramp is located on Twelve Mile Bayou where I-49 crosses the bayou. It can be is accessed from Hwy 71.
