I will never forget the one “White Christmas” I experienced in the South. It was just a very light dusting of snow in Tyler, Texas, but for it being my first Christmas in the South, it might as well have been a blizzard.

It was enough to cause my entire family to stop everything and celebrate. Because of that one magical evening, I think I will always hold out a little bit of hope for a White Christmas, even though we live in a part of the country where that is a rare gift.

Unfortunately, for 2025, it looks like whatever cute, cozy outfit you had planned for Christmas Day might need to be traded in for shorts and a tank top. It is honestly difficult to get into the holiday spirit when you are sweating while opening presents!
