WASKOM, Texas (KETK) — A house fire in Waskom led to the death of a middle school and elementary student at Waskom ISD.
The district released a statement on Tuesday offering its condolences following the death of both students.
“Our entire school community is grieving this tremendous loss and our hearts are with their families, friends and all who knew and loved them,” Waskom ISD Superintendent Chris Guastella said.
