SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Shreveport Police Department (SPD) is investigating an elderly fraud case involving an elderly resident who was scammed out of over $13,000.
SPD detectives have released images of a suspect believed to be connected to the crime and are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying her.
According to police, the victim received multiple phone calls from a male impersonating her grandchild.
The caller claimed he was in jail and urgently needed bond money for his release…
