Monthly community feast serves Shreveport’s unhoused population

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – The unhoused community in downtown Shreveport gathers for a monthly feast on every third Sunday, receiving meals and messages of hope from local organizations.

The Hope House, a local day shelter, has seen an increase in people checking into their facilities, according to Executive Director Donna Earnest.
