Red Cross mobilizes in North Louisiana, offering shelter and hot meals

MONROE, La.(KTVE/KARD) — As thousands across North Louisiana continue to face prolonged power outages following days of severe winter weather, emergency shelters and community feeding sites are now open to help residents stay warm and fed.

The American Red Cross has opened a 24‑hour shelter in East Carroll Parish, offering a safe, heated space for individuals and families in need:
