Fentanyl and firearms seized in Shreveport drug arrest

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The Shreveport Police Department has arrested a suspect allegedly linked to the distribution of dangerous drugs, including fentanyl pills.

Assistant principal arrested for shoplifting at local Walmart

On January 30, 2026, officers responded to a call about a suspicious person in the 3500 block of Hardy Street. When officers arrived, they quickly identified the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop.

During the investigation, officers found the driver, identified as Micah Eugene, in possession of MDMA. Police say they also uncovered two firearms, one of which had been reported stolen, along with a cache of fentanyl pills, during the search.

Officers say Eugene tried to evade arrest by physically resisting, prompting officers to deploy OC spray and a taser to ensure compliance…
