Bossier City is planning to build out some new infrastructure with the hopes of supporting growth in the parish and subsidizing residential water bills.
The city council is considering approving $500,000 for the construction of two additional commercial water filling sites that could be used by contractors, developers, industrial users and bulk-water haulers for a metered price.
“The construction of commercial water filling stations is expected to generate new ongoing revenue through user fees, consumption charges, and system-access payments, with revenue projections increasing proportionally with anticipated development in the parish,” the ordinance reads…
