Extra federal money is being extended to north Louisiana to aid in recovery efforts after Winter Storm Fern hit last month.
Following a federal disaster declaration made Monday, small businesses impacted by the storm in 19 Louisiana parishes and select counties in Arkansas and Mississippi can apply for disaster loans from the Small Business Administration.
That includes Bossier, which was one of five primary parishes deemed adversely affected, along with Caddo, which is next to the areas deemed primarily affected. Lafayette and Miller Counties in Arkansas are also included. The deadline for those applications is Nov. 2…
