One of our favorite family go-to restaurants when we can’t or don’t want to cook is Pita de Novo in Shreveport.
I don’t remember how or when we discovered this small, casual place but I’m guessing it’s well known by workers and students from Willis Knighton South and LSU Shreveport because of its convenient location to both.
You can’t really see it from the street – tucked at the end of a small strip center and next to a bayou. It’s almost hidden unless you’re looking for it.
If it’s not well known to you, it’s worth a visit if you like Greek and Mediterranean food. Pita de Novo is always delicious and reasonably priced with friendly faces behind the counter…
