SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – In a confirmation to KSLA on Feb. 18, Commissioner John Paul Young (R) announced his candidacy for the Mayor of Shreveport.
According to Young, he is running on a simple platform: growing the population and doing so by advocating for safe, clean streets.
He says that safe streets mean more police with higher pay, and that they must be empowered and must enforce the law every time it is broken…
