HAUGHTON, La. – Possible mishandling of town property by the Haughton Police Department prompted a closed-door session of the Haughton Town Council Wednesday morning.
Mayor Hunter Timms said he could not provide details about what is alleged. He released a statement saying the police chief notified town leaders about violations of abandoned property within the police department.
