SHREVEPORT, La. — A second person has died following a two-vehicle head-on crash Tuesday that also left two others injured.
The driver of one of the vehicles died at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, according to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened just after noon in the 6000 block of Highway 1. Preliminary information indicates that the driver of a SUV was traveling southbound while the driver of a sedan was heading northbound when the two collided.
One passenger from the sedan was airlifted to Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport, while a second passenger was taken by ground to the same facility. Both are being treated for life-threatening injuries…
