SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Shreveport police have arrested a man for breaking into the home of his child’s mother and assaulting her.
Detectives search for witnesses in Alexandria nightclub shooting
The incident occurred on Saturday evening at the Riverscape Apartment Community on River Parkway Boulevard. A female victim contacted authorities and reported that her child’s father, Darnell Harrison, 28, had forced his way into her home and assaulted her.
The victim also told police that her friend was inside the apartment during the incident and that Harrison struck the friend multiple times with a firearm.
According to the police, a nearby resident reported that someone had kicked in the door of an apartment. When officers arrived, they found damage consistent with forced entry. Additionally, security footage showed an individual kicking in the victim’s apartment door…
