An estate sale in the Azalea Gardens neighborhood in Shreveport has many unique finds, including richly patterned rugs, early glassware, antique mirrors, chandeliers, framed artwork and more.

According to the Estate Sales website listing, this sale has nearly half of the contents as family heirlooms, thoughtfully blended with a lifetime of collected treasures. The lady of the house sewed custom draperies and bedding, reupholstered chairs, refinished lighting and took pride in every detail.

Among the sale are 1930’s hand-stitched quilts, needlepoint, polished silverplate, cut-crystal serving pieces, elegant early glassware, large handmade copper pots, Continental brass and split-oak handcrafted baskets, according to the website.

Some of the furniture available includes a French-style bombe chest and dresser with coordinating bedside stand, a Thomasville Country Manor china cabinet, a Thomasville Country Manor dining table with two leaves and six rush seat chairs, a Thomasville Country Manor poster bed bedroom suite, and a custom-made pine armoire with fabric-lined interior, as well as a drop-leaf tea/bar cart and a black lacquer cabinet.
