SHREVEPORT, La. – Work continues on the permanent repair of the main transmission line which caused a dip in water pressure last week in Shreveport.
According to Shreveport’s Water and Sewerage Department, concrete was poured at the repair site and crews are allowing it time to cure before moving onto the next stage.
Once the concrete is ready, crews will disinfect the line and test the pressure of the repaired section before placing it back into service…
