A new Korean barbecue restaurant in Bossier City is having a soft opening.
Gogiya Korean BBQ is beginning to serve customers. They still await Korean barbecue grills for the tables and the sushi setup, but you can order appetizers and entrees off the menu.
I found the interior to be inviting and the atmosphere to be comfortable. It was upbeat also — they were playing K-pop, or Korean popular, music. I received excellent customer service from more than one staff member.
I thought I would try the first item on the menu — the appetizer Gogiya Kimbap, handmade seaweed rolls filled with rice, beef, crab, egg and vegetables. It was definitely an interesting mix of flavors…
