SHREVEPORT, La. — The Martin Luther King Jr. Neighborhood Association in Shreveport is one of 20 organizations nationwide to be awarded with an AT&T Connected Learning Center.
The center will receive an investment of $50,000 from AT&T to provide internet access and digital resources to the community. It will also get high-speed internet, Dell computers and access to digital literacy training and resources.
When it opens at a later date, the center will provide a reliable place to get online, complete schoolwork, apply for jobs, manage healthcare, create resumes, attend virtual appointments access benefits, learn digital skills, communicate with loved ones and more.
