Police identify suspect in stolen firearm case, warrant issued

SHREVEPORT, La. – Police have identified a suspect in connection with a stolen firearm taken from a convenience store last month in Shreveport.

According to the Shreveport Police Department, the theft happened Feb. 23 around 10:15 p.m. at a business in the 4000 block of Jewella Avenue. Investigators say two people were captured on surveillance video inside the store when a firearm and its magazine were taken.

Detectives later identified the suspect as Chad Raymond Taylor, 45. An arrest warrant has been issued charging him with one count of theft of a firearm, and investigators are working to locate him…
