The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that area motorists will soon experience a cleaner ride through the Shreveport-Bossier City region following a routine sweeping operation on portions of the most heavily-traveled roadways.
Beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2026, nighttime sweeping will begin on LA 3132 and I-220, weather permitting. This sweeping cycle is anticipated to take approximately two nights to complete.
