Dangerous new drug on Shreveport streets, ‘distributed by the cartels’: North LA Crime Lab

Forensic toxicologists Amy Patton and Kenton Leigh came to Shreveport 13 months ago and four months ago, respectively, to work at the North Louisiana Crime Lab.

They have since learned they are not the only newcomers to the area, as they and co-workers have found a new, deadly drug apparently sold on the streets in Caddo Parish.
