SHREVEPORT, La. — Shreveport police are actively searching for a woman who they say is lucky to be alive after a “violent, reckless confrontation” with officers on Sunday at the Walmart on Shreveport-Barksdale Highway.
The incident began as a theft at Walmart. It quickly turned into a dangerous assault, police said Monday in a news release.
As officers attempted to detain Alicia Lewis — also known as Alicia Fleming — in the parking lot, she refused to comply with repeated commands to get out of her SUV.
