SHREVEPORT, La. — Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of two house fires that broke out simultaneously Wednesday morning in the Allendale neighborhood.
Firefighters responded to the calls around 7 a.m. for two abandoned homes located about one block apart. One fire occurred at the corner of Lamar Street and Lyba Street. The second fire was located at the intersection of Lyba Street and Marston Street.
Officials confirmed both houses were unoccupied at the time of the fires. No injuries were reported, and no one was transported for medical treatment…
