Shreveport leaders have been looking for ways to help combat domestic violence in our community. And now, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has opened up his wallet to help. He showed up in town to donate piles of cash to several nonprofit groups in the Shreveport region.

Jackson has donated $500,000 dollars among these agencies. He says he was inspired to donate after he produced a documentary for Netflix about Sean P Diddy Comb’s involvement in domestic violence incidents. This money will be a huge help during this time when agencies are having a tough time raising money and the cost for many goods and services are high. They are also dealing with high fuel costs which also increases costs for all goods and services…
