SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) โ The Shreveport Police Department, in collaboration with the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission, is set to conduct a seatbelt checkpoint on March 30, 2026.
The initiative will take place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the southeastern region of Shreveport and will primarily focus on drivers not in compliance with Louisianaโs occupant protection laws, particularly seatbelt regulations.
