SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — A Shreveport man has been arrested following a violent domestic assault that reportedly left a woman seriously injured and occurred in front of several children, according to the Shreveport Police Department.
Texarkana police investigating after missing woman’s remains identified
Police say the incident happened on February, 11, 2026, when officers were dispatched after the victim called 911, reporting she had allegedly been assaulted by her child’s father, identified as Jeremy Davenport.
When officers arrived, they made contact with the victim, who was suffering from significant injuries, including severe bleeding and a laceration to her eyelid that required medical sutures. Police say Davenport had already fled the scene on foot.
