SHREVEPORT, La. — Caddo Parish is leading the state in traffic deaths. That’s why Shreveport police are out Monday conducting a seatbelt safety checkpoint.
So far, there have been 11 fatal traffic deaths in Caddo Parish this year, compared to 51 total in 2025.
