SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A resident of a Shreveport duplex managed to escape a fire at the home but was injured in the process.
The Shreveport Fire Department was called to the 2100 block of Dillingham Avenue on April 4, 2026, for a reported house fire.
When SFD arrived at 12:12 p.m., heavy smoke and flames were visible from a two-story residential duplex. The resident who reported the fire was able to exit before SFD arrived and sustained burn injuries to the hands and feet. They were brought to an area hospital for treatment.
