WASKOM, Texas (KSLA) – The Waskom Independent School District Board of Trustees has appointed an interim superintendent after the previous one recently died in a car wreck in Shreveport.
On Monday, April 6, the school district announced the appointment of Ross Boyett as interim superintendent. Boyett has nearly three decades of experience in education; the school district says he has a strong track record of “supporting students, empowering staff, and leading with integrity.”
Board members say they have full confidence in Boyett’s ability to lead the district with “stability, clarity, and purpose” while a search for a permanent replacement happens…
