SHREVEPORT, La. – Dr. Lester W. Johnson has been named senior vice chancellor of LSU Health Shreveport after leading the institution in various interim capacities for the past 11 months.
Johnson previously served as the interim chancellor, interim senior vice chancellor and interim dean of the LSUHS School of Medicine. Chancellor Jim Dalton, who is also executive vice president of LSU, credited Johnson with providing steady leadership during a period of transition.
