Strong storms possible Sunday

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Feeling more like summer with storm chances favoring the northwest portion of the ArkLaTex through next week.

STORMS RETURN ON SUNDAY

  • Scattered storms arrive from the west by afternoon & continue into the evening
  • A few could be strong to severe with hail and strong wind gusts
  • Locations near the I-30 corridor will be most favored for storm development

ANOTHER ROUND OF STORMS WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY

  • Scattered storms return late Wednesday into early Thursday
  • Once again, a few of these could be severe with hail, wind and an isolated tornado possible
  • Best chance of severe weather northwest of the I-30 corridor

RAINFALL TOTALS-NEXT 7 DAYS

  • Most of the rain will fall northwest of I-30
  • Very little rain expected from Shreveport to the southeast
