If you are one of the many people who think Shreveport could be a cleaner city, you can help step up to clean things up.
The City of Shreveport is partnering with Shreveport Green and Visit Shreveport Bossier to host a citywide cleanup event as part of Love the Boot Week. This is a statewide initiative from Keep Louisiana Beautiful. The goal is to help reduce litter and beautify communities.
What Is Happening in Shreveport?
On Saturday, the community is hosting “Shreveport Green – City Wide Cleanup 2026,” This will be happening from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the State Fairgrounds.
The Mayor’s office sent out this information:
Volunteers from across the community are invited to participate in this effort to remove litter, improve neighborhoods, and support a cleaner, healthier Shreveport.
