SHREVEPORT, La. — Taco lovers packed downtown Shreveport Saturday for Taco Wars 2026, where local taquerias competed for bragging rights in a daylong celebration of food, music and community.
Hundreds gathered outside the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium to sample tacos and salsa from 13 vendors, most based in Shreveport-Bossier, with several traveling from Texas for the competition.
