ANNAPOLIS, MD—The Maryland Department of Natural Resources has announced three upcoming license-free fishing days, offering residents and visitors an opportunity to explore the state’s waterways without purchasing a standard license or trout stamp.
The special dates are scheduled for June 6, June 13, and July 4.
State natural resource officials host the event annually on the first two Saturdays of June and on Independence Day to coincide with peak spring and summer fishing activity.
