ARLINGTON, Va. (WJLA) — Two Virginia men were arrested and are facing charges after officials said they illegally dumped oil and gas into a storm drain in Arlington.
According to the Arlington County Fire Department, two men were arrested after an investigation into the dumping of petroleum products into the county’s stormwater system.
Both Ahmad Adawi and Suhib Derbas, from Fairfax and Alexandria, are charged with Conspiracy to Discharge Oil into Waters, and Knowingly and Willfully Discharging Oil into Waters. Adawi is also charged with Violation of the Statewide Fire Prevention Code. Both were arrested without incident, officials said, and are awaiting further proceedings in the judicial system…
