Man wanted in deadly Maryland hit-and-run arrested while trying to board plane to Honduras

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A man accused of running over another man in Gaithersburg, Maryland, earlier this week was arrested at a New Jersey airport while trying to board an international flight to Honduras.

According to the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD), Josue David Carranza Castellon, 26, who has no fixed address, is facing charges of manslaughter by vehicle and failure to remain at the scene of an accident resulting in death.

The charges stem from a hit-and-run crash that happened around 4:47 a.m. June 17, at the intersection of Muddy Branch Road and West Diamond Avenue.
