MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Crews extinguished multiple vehicles on fire in Potomac on Friday afternoon amid scorching temperatures.
The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters responded to the reported vehicle fire on Lake Potomac Drive around 3 p.m.
At the scene, firefighters found five vehicles, an enclosed trailer and nearby brush on fire.
Firefighters extinguished the flames with no injuries reported; however the fire left about $20,000 in damages, according to officials.
