WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police said that a 19-year-old died after a shooting in Southeast D.C. on Monday morning.
Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officers responded to the 2500 block of Pennsylvania Ave. SE around 4:30 a.m. after someone reported a person who was down.

After officers arrived, they found a man who appeared to have been shot. DC Fire and EMS transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he died.
