Police are investigating an apparent domestic-related murder-suicide after finding a husband and wife dead inside a Centreville home where three children were present.
Officers with the Fairfax County Police Department responded to a residence in the 6300 block of Sharps Drive at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, after a family member called 911. Inside the house, police discovered Brandon Brown, 31, and his wife, Lavinia Brown, 31, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Personnel from Fairfax County Fire and Rescue pronounced the couple dead at the scene.
