Chicken Salad Chick has delayed the grand opening of its upcoming Olney restaurant, citing an ongoing wait for electrical power. The restaurant had been scheduled to open September 23 at 18209 Olney Village Center Dr. and is now targeting mid-October.
In an update shared with customers, the restaurant expressed frustration over the delay, saying it had hoped to have power by now and had repeatedly escalated the issue through available channels.
The owners thanked the Olney Chamber of Commerce, Montgomery County Councilmember Dawn Luedtke and her staff member Aaron Kraut for their assistance in trying to resolve the situation. “We WILL OPEN…just (much) later than we had hoped,” the restaurant stated…
