DC Superior Court Judge Andrea Hertzfeld ordered a preliminary mental competency screening for a carjacking defendant on Sept. 30.
Deangelo Williams, 34, is charged with unarmed carjacking for his alleged involvement in an incident that occurred at the 1900 block of 9th Street, NW, on May 18.
