A Fairfax woman killed while walking on Route 28 in Chantilly earlier this week was struck by multiple cars, police say.
Fiona Hagengimana, 32, was walking in the northbound lanes of Route 28 (Sully Road), just north of Route 50, when she was struck by a vehicle around 11 p.m. on Tuesday (Sept. 29), according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
She was then hit by “several additional vehicles,” police said in a press release this afternoon (Friday). At least two drivers stayed at the scene, though the original driver doesn’t appear to have been one of them…
