The outrage surfaced in a widely circulated Nextdoor discussion thread initiated by Depriest Monroe of Coral Hills/Capitol Heights. Monroe called out the regional grocer directly, stating that Giant “has gotten ridiculous” since bag fees expanded across local jurisdictions.
“I noticed that their bags have gotten a lot smaller and they have gotten a lot thinner.
