Chanting “We don’t want the school to close,” a group of Gaithersburg Elementary School parents stood side by side at a meeting Monday night, urging Montgomery County, Maryland, public school leaders to avoid consolidating a school they’ve grown to love.
“Other schools, but not this one,” parent Rosa Figueroa told WTOP through an interpreter.
