New library in Congress Heights seeking community input

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — D.C. Public Library would like your input on a new library being constructed in Southeast.

D.C. Public Library said it’s starting its design process for a new library in Congress Heights.

The new 20,000 square foot library is proposed to be built at 1290 Alabama Ave. near the Congress Heights Metro Station.

The library system will be holding focus groups, surveys, community meetings and more to get the community’s feedback.
