The Nationals optioned Brzykcy to Triple-A Rochester on Friday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports. Brzykcy is clearing out to make space on the roster for Trevor Williams, who is back from the injured list to start Friday’s game against the Cubs. The rookie reliever was roughed up for nine runs over 5.2 innings during his brief first stint in the big leagues.
