WASHINGTON (DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a woman was stabbed in Northwest D.C. on Thursday morning.
Police said that around 10:30 a.m., they responded to the 5300 block of Connecticut Ave., for a report of a stabbing.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman who had been stabbed.
The woman was conscious and breathing. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
As of Thursday morning, her condition was unknown.
