DC chefs set record for world’s largest pupusa

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Washington, D.C., is now home to the world’s largest pupusa.

On Saturday, chefs at Fiesta DC set the Guinness World Record by cooking a pupusa that measured 20 feet and 2 inches.

The challenge aimed to celebrate Latino culture and showcase El Salvador’s heritage and flavors. It was part of the Fiesta DC festival, which features live music, traditional performances and various food stalls.
