WASHINGTON, DC.- The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department is actively searching for the gunman who shot a man early Friday night in Northeast D.C. According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Friday, October 18, 2024, shortly around 6:15 p.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting shots fired on the 3900 Block of Minnesota Avenue in Northeast D.C.
