ROCKVILLE, Md. (7News) – Using a gas leaf blower for one hour emits the same amount of emissions as a car driving from Washington, D.C. to Miami, Florida. Americans use three billion gallons of gas yearly to maintain lawns and gardens. Here in Maryland, 72 million gallons are used annually. There have been big changes with leaf blowers here in Montgomery County this year.
